Summary of Negotiations

***Update April 18, 2017*** Since July 15, 2015, the bargaining teams for the Clintondale Board of Education and the Clintondale Education Association have met 16 times, including 6 sessions with the State-appointed mediator. The last mediation session was January 27, 2016. Since that time, representatives for the Board and the Association have continued to meet away from the bargaining table to explore common ground for a fair contract. The teams came back to the bargaining table on both April 12, 2017 and April 17, 2017. On April 12 the Clintondale Board of Education presented a proposal that was rejected by the Clintondale Education Association to which the Clintondale Education Association presented a counter proposal. During the April 17, 2017 bargaining session the Clintondale Board of Education rejected the Clintondale Education Association proposal that was submitted on April 12 and presented a counter proposal. The Clintondale Education Association read and held a caucus about the proposal and no counter proposal or decision was offered. There are no additional bargaining sessions scheduled at this time. The updated proposals from April 12, 2017 and April 17, 2017 are listed below.
